David Dalton has been a secondary school educator on the North Shore for over 22 years. He has received several
recognitions including a Harvard Book Prize for Teaching Excellence and a Nynex Science and Technology Award. He is a
certified teacher, with years of experience in teaching science and math at the high school level. David is responsible
for introducing molecular biology techniques to Ipswich High School after completing an internship with New England Biolabs
in 1989. He has coached high school basketball and baseball, served as athletic director, and is a certified instructor for
CPR and First Aid. David currently works as the Assistant Principal of Ipswich High School in Ipswich, Massachusetts.
Paul Kelly has taught humanities to middle and high school students for the last ten years, as well as having
founded a supplemental education company called Thought Life Educational Services. Through Thought Life Paul has taught
and tutored many students in literature, writing, history, and philosophy. He has worked with students not only on the
North Shore but in Boston, Belgium, and India. Paul grew up spending his summers at a camp in the Adirondacks and loves
the outdoors as much as he loves a good book and lively discussion.
